They say that you are pregnant for nine months and that it takes you nine more months after labor to get back in shape. Yoga can offer you support at this time of great change and adjustment. It provides tools for you to nurture yourself and your baby as you gradually regain strength and tone on every level. It will also help you to relax deeply as your new baby feeds and sleeps, so you can conserve your energy drained by the inevitable lack of sleep.
There are also special routines recommended for recovery from caesarean section or episiotomy, multiple births and strengthening the pelvic floor.
